Our Annual Scientific Meeting in 2024 was held on the 2nd June 2024 at the Cordis Hotel in Hong Kong. The meeting comprised of four sessions. This programme has been organized by the Hong Kong Kidney Foundation since 2017 to honour deceased organ donors and promote organ donation. The event was held on 10th December 2023 at the Junk Bay Chinese Permanent Cemetery, where deceased organ donors were honoured with an individual plaque on the Memorial Wall at the Garden of Remembrance. The purpose of this annual Donor Family Day is to express our appreciation to all organ donor families. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event had been postponed for several years and was resumed on 19th November 2023 at the Whitehead Barbecue Site in Ma On Shan. A total of 327 participants attended. The Organ Donation Day was held on 11th November 2023 at Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK) with the Department of Health and the Health Bureau. The programme was filmed in the afternoon and broadcast on the RTHK TV Channel in the evening. Dr Maggie Ma, Dr Gordon Chan, Dr Chau Ka-Foon, Prof Jeremy Teoh, Ms Tang Yuen-Yee, Ms Cheung Shuk-Man and Ms Jenny Koo represented the HKST at the event.

Our Annual Scientific Meeting in 2023 was held as part of the 18th Congress of the Asian Society of Transplantation during 25–28th August at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
